Being a practical sort of lady, I have one cookbook. It's a three-ring binder, and it's filled with my favorite recipes. Over the years, I have cut recipes out of magazines, printed them from the Internet, typed them on paper, and written them on Post-It Notes. All of those sheets and scraps of paper have found their way into my recipe binder. Now that I blog, those recipes are finding their way here.

FYI: I make all of my recipes from scratch. I do not use box mixes such as cake mix or Bisquick, or other convenience ingredients. I also use healthy alternatives--coconut oil for canola, sucanat for brown sugar--whenever I can. I typically note those alternatives to help you prepare recipes to your own liking.
