Homecoming tonight.
In the past four weeks, I’ve seen him only a few hours here and there—sometimes just overnight with him gone by morning. I’m a tough cookie (I married a Navy man!), so it doesn’t bother me. It has made me cherish our moments, because I won’t get them back.
You won’t see me online tomorrow—I have a whole day with my husband. I’m going to treasure it.
