Wish I'd frozen my raw-pac...A blessing, indeed! Wish I'd frozen my raw-packed apple pie filling...I decided to can it instead, and all but one jar bubbled up and out, so I had a sticky mess, too. They all sealed, but beware and keep checking your applesauce jars...all but that one clean one "unsealed" themselves within a couple of days. So I dumped them all into freezer bags, and figured they'd be fine...but the resulting apple pies are more like chunky applesauce pies. Pretty mushy filling, not so good. Grrrr! Anyway, what a sweet picture of Kelly :-) Love that girl...I bet she was a sweet blessing in your home! Part of me wants a weekend in SW Michigan to get the last of the November apples and make new pie filling and more sauce, LOL!
